ABout US
The Calgary Flames Sports Bank provides FREE gently used sports equipment to children from qualified families throughout Southern Alberta. A common misconception is that we only help with hockey equipment. While we do give out hockey gear, we give out equipment for most other sports as well!
To accomplish our mission, we work with corporations, agencies, and everyday Calgarians to collect new and gently used sports gear. All donations are quality and safety checked, then sanitized and cleaned up before being given out to kids. Kids receiving equipment from the Calgary Flames Sports Bank can rest assured that the gear they receive is going to be effective and safe for them.
Equipment donations can be made by visiting any of the Wood Automotive Group dealerships throughout the city.

There are a number of ways in which you can assist us. No gift is too small and all gifts are greatly appreciated! If you are donating equipment we ask if you would consider making a min $5 donation to help with the cleaning, sorting, sanitizing and redistribution of that equipment.
